Our Anemia Marker panel consists of four assays: RBC Folate, Vitamin B12, Folate and Ferritin, which are used to aid in the diagnosis of a number of conditions.  For example:

• Low levels of Vitamin B12 can be an indication of pernicious anemia and also intestinal disease.
• High serum folate concentrations may occur in patients with Vitamin B12 deficiency.
• Ferritin levels give an indication of the iron stores.

*40 minute incubation. Available on AIA-2000, AIA-1800 and AIA-600 II only
